BASQUE MOVIE NIGHT
Asier Altuna and Sandra Ott were at the Chino Basque Club on Saturday night, October 8.
They presented their films "Amama" and "The Basques of Santazi" respectively.
Everyone enjoyed the films, the commentary and the tapas prepared by the Basq Kitchen of Redondo Beach and Chino Basque Club members.
Thank you, Asier and Sandra for making this a memorable evening. Also, thanks to Mike & Jeanette Bidart for making the arrangements to ensure that Sandra Ott could be there.
CHINO YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARADE
The Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 10. We have a float, dancers and musicians. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us!
UDALEKU COMMITTE LOOKING FOR HOUSING
The dates for the 2017 children's music camp are
June 25 - July 7
The Southern California Basque Club picnic will be during these two weeks so the participants will be performing at that picnic.
The final Udaleku performance will be at the Chino Basque Club on July 7.
An estimated 100-120 participants are expected to be here. More housing volunteers are needed - to date The committee has secured housing for only 50 participants.
