In addition to the regular club lunch, the CBC is hosting the traveling “Basques in California” Exhibit.
Some details? The exhibit chronicles Basque immigrants, which include explorers, missionaries, sheepherders, dairymen, and other business owners. The “Basques in California” exhibit was curated by the Basque Museum in Boise, Idaho, and debuted during the World Congress in Bilbao, Spain, in 2019. It is sponsored by NABO and the Basque Government. The Basque Educational Organization (BEO) has taken on the leadership role of ensuring this exhibit is available to all Basque Clubs, especially those in California.
